Mold Assessment -

To answer the question "Do I have a hidden mold problem in my home, business, or the home I want to buy?" The Mold Assessment provides a moisture survey of common points of water intrusion into the structure, such as plumbing, windows, doors, and HVAC systems. It includes a visual inspection of building materials and systems for indications of prior water damage. These are verified by Thermal Imaging and moisture meters. The Mold Assessment provides a written report on findings and current conditions This may require collecting air or surface samples.

Mold Remediation Protocol -

This is a document that includes detailed requirements needed for remediation.

This includes:

*All of the services in the Mold Assessment, Plus:

*the "scope of damage" - What rooms are affected? (Sampling is required) What walls can be cleaned and what needs to be removed? How high up? Are contents affected? etc.

*What processes and systems are required, and what is recommended?

*What are the "room conditions" (per industry standards (including ANSI/IICRC S-520 2015 Standard For Professional Mold Remediation)?

*HVAC remediation requirements, floor plan, lab results, and more.

Post Remediation Verification (PRV) -

A 'clearance' test performed after remediation (before build back) is to verify that the property has been returned to a condition of "Normal Fungal Ecology". This is an important document for a property owner, that validates to a buyer (disclosure) that although there had been a mold issue, it was corrected properly and verified by a qualified, independent, 3rd party professional. It is almost always required by an insurance company to verify the work was done properly.

Sewage Backflow / Trauma

Protocol and PRV -

Sewage or septic system backflows and trauma scenes can introduce dangerous bacteria and pathogens to the indoor environment. We can develop a plan (Protocol)for the successful remediation of these contaminants. After the remediation is complete, we can verify the affected materials have been returned to a safe and sanitary condition.

In these situations, our targets are often "E. Coli" and other "Fecal and non-Fecal Coliforms", gram-negative bacteria, and other pathogens.

FIRE and SMOKE Damage

Assessment, Protocol, and PRV -

Smoke and combustion products in the home can come from many sources, from scented candles, traffic, brush fires, gas appliances, fireplaces, structure fires, and more. Most of the components of smoke, soot, and char are hazardous to your health or toxic.

The Fire and Smoke Damage Assessment includes a visual inspection of building materials testing for residues of combustion and the toxic byproducts commonly found in a structure fire. We can also test for secondhand tobacco smoke residue in the air and on many surfaces.

Allergen Testing

Allergy and asthma sufferers can benefit from our 'state-of-the-art' sampling system.

We were among the very first companies in the world to have this technology. We can provide the client (and their Allergist) with a list of up to 32 environmental allergens found in their home and/or business.

This is a 5-day test, sampling 1,000,000 (1 million) liters of air. This test detects ultra-fine particles, which are particles small enough to bypass the body's defense system to go directly to the bloodstream. Numerous scientific studies have linked particle pollution exposure to a variety of problems, including premature death in people with heart or lung disease, nonfatal heart attacks, irregular heartbeat, aggravated asthma, decreased lung function, and increased respiratory symptoms, such as irritation of the airways, coughing or difficulty breathing. People with heart or lung diseases, children, and older adults are the most likely to be affected by particle pollution exposure.

Moisture Mapping -

We can help locate, identify, and document, hidden moisture issues (above the slab) from failures in roofing, plumbing, HVAC, systems, weather events, construction defects, and more.

Airborne Covid-19 Testing -

We can verify the effectiveness of a facility virus defense program. We achieve this by collecting an air sample for 72 hours and receiving a report detailing the presence or absence of the Covid-19 virus. This includes overnight shipping to the accredited lab and typically a 72-hour analysis time.

Cleanliness Testing -

We can quantify and verify the effectiveness of facility cleaning and sanitization efforts through ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) testing. This testing provides rapid (less than 1 minute) reproducible results.

Chemicals in Indoor Air

We can sample the air in your home or business to test for Volatile Organic Compounds (V.O.C.s), Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds (S.V.O.C.s) Microbial Volatile Compounds (M.V.O.C.s). These chemicals include Formaldehyde, Benzene, Hexane, Xylene, and many more. These contaminants enter our homes in construction materials, furnishings, cleaning products, health, and personal care products, and potentially hazardous materials that are often stored in the garage.

We arrive at your home wearing a mask. This is to protect ourselves since 90% of the homes we are in have an indoor air issue.

 NOTE:

Nearly all our investigations include this data: Indoor and outdoor temperature

Indoor and outdoor relative and specific humidity ( specific humidity is also known as humidity ratio)

Indoor and outdoor Carbon Monoxide (CO), and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) levels

The moisture content of building materials at common water intrusion points

For discretion, our vehicle does not have any logo or advertising on it. We don't think any potential issues in your home are your neighbors business.
